By following our instructions, you’ll be able to enjoy the benefits of a steam shower in your own home without spending a fortune.

What You’ll Need

Steam showers are a great way to relax after a long day. There are many different types of steam showers, but this guide will show you how to make a basic shower using just a stove and water.

To make the shower, you’ll need:
-A stove or an electric heating element
-A small pot or pan
-A garden hose
-Water
-An enclosure for the pot or pan (a large trash can works well)
-Towels or washcloths
-Optional: A bottle of distilled white vinegar or lemon juice
1. Fill your pot or pan with enough water to cover the bottom of the enclosure. Turn on your stove or heating element and bring the water to a boil. 2. Place your container on top of the boiling water and turn off the heat. Allow the shower to fill up with steam. 3. Once your container is full, turn off your stove and remove it from the boiling water. Pour out all of the water from your pot or pan and refill it with fresh cold water. 4. Turn on your stove again and bring the water to a boil; let it boil for about 10 minutes before pouring it over your towel enclosure (or washcloth enclosure). 5. Allow the steam to continue streaming through your towel/washcloth enclosure for about 10 more minutes before turning off the stove and letting everything cool down naturally (about 15 minutes). 6. Rinse off all of the soap residue

Steam showers are a great way to get a good workout without having to leave your home. Plus, they’re relaxing and invigorating at the same time. Here are some tips on how to make a steam shower:

Tips for Making a Steam Shower

If you’re in the market for a new shower experience but don’t know where to start, look no further. In this guide, we’ll teach you how to make your own steam shower, from start to finish.

Before You Start:

The first step is to gather all of the necessary supplies. You will need a sturdy platform, water heater, shower head, and soap. Plus, you will need some tools: a drill, saw blade, measuring tape, and screws or nails.

The Platform:

Your platform should be made out of at least 1 inch thick plywood or hardwood. Make sure that it is level and stable before construction begins. If needed, you can use feet to secure the platform to the ground. Be sure to add a layer of insulation between the platform and the ground to prevent heat loss.

Water Heater:

To create steam within your shower enclosure, you will need a water heater with an output of at least 120 voltsAC. Make sure that your heater is properly grounded and has an appropriately sized hose connection (our recommended size is 3/4 inch). A water heater that’s too small will not create enough steam; one that’s too large may cause safety hazards. Never use an outdoor gas grill as a water heater – it is not properly insulated and could result in dangerous flammable gases escaping into your home!
